Meal Service for Remote Learners

JEFFERSON ISD TO BEGIN DELIVERY OF SCHOOL MEALS TO REMOTE LEARNERS EACH DAY

 

The JISD Food Service Department plans to initiate the delivery of meals (breakfast and lunch) to remote learners each afternoon.  We plan to begin contacting all families of remote learners beginning the 3rd week of school (Aug. 31st through Sept. 4th) in order to determine those who are interested in getting these meals delivered each day.    If interested, (in order to expedite this process), parents of remote learners may also contact Stephanie Holman, Food Service Director, at 903-665-2461 ext. 3003 in order to get more information and/or to let us know they are interested in arranging for meals to be delivered to their homes.    We appreciate your cooperation with this endeavor.  

 

Please continue to communicate with your child’s teachers and/or campus administrators to ensure the remote learning experience is a success.  Also, please monitor your child’s progress and ensure he/she is logging in each day to avoid being counted absent each day.  Thank you again for your involvement and support.   Together, we will “make this thing work”!
