Jefferson ISD offers a $5000 New Teacher stipend (for any teacher new to Jefferson ISD) paid in two installments, $3500 the first full year of employment and $1500 the second full year of employment. 

Jefferson ISD offers a stipend for teaching tested academic areas of $400 per class period.

JISD is fully approved for Teacher Incentive Allotment for grades K-12 core content areas and CTE. Payroll Dates 2023-2024

Pay day is on the 20^th of every month. If the 20^th falls on a weekend or a holiday, payday will be the last full school day before the 20^th. See below for the paydates for this school year.
